About Community Presbyterian Church
Community Presbyterian Church in Clewiston is a family of believers committed to Jesus Christ and to following his teaching and commandments, guided by the Holy Spirit to deepen faith and share the love of God with their community and the world. Established in 1925 as the first church in Clewiston, the congregation has grown from meeting in a wooden school building to occupying its current brick facility built in 1950, with educational and fellowship spaces added over the decades. The church transferred from the Presbyterian Church USA to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in 2013 and remains actively engaged in community service through a 24/7 food pantry, support for local and international missionaries, and partnerships with organizations serving vulnerable populations.
