About Westminster By The Sea Presbyterian Church
Westminster By The Sea Presbyterian Church has been a vibrant Presbyterian (PCUSA) presence in Daytona Beach since 1955, guided by a congregational leadership structure of elected elders who share authority with the called pastor. Worship is characterized by excellent music, featuring the Chancel Choir accompanied by organ and piano, along with a Bell Choir and seasonal community concerts. The church is deeply rooted in caring ministries, hosting a Presbyterian Counseling Center branch, support groups, and whole health programming that brings medical and wellness expertise to the congregation. Beyond Sunday services, Westminster offers Christian education for all ages, an active youth group, and robust outreach initiatives including food service at Halifax Urban Ministries and support for international missions and disaster assistance. The church cultivates strong fellowship through coffee hours, book clubs, games, art and exercise classes, and social gatherings, inviting both members and non-members to participate fully in all ministries.
