About The Church of God by Faith
The Church of God by Faith, Inc. is a 101-year-old organization established in 1914 by John Bright, Aaron Matthews, Nathaniel Scippio, and Hubert Steadman, beginning with a prayer meeting in Jacksonville, Florida and expanding throughout the Southern United States and beyond. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the church focuses on building God's Kingdom by winning lost souls, reaching the hurting, and reconciling the wounded. The congregation maintains deep roots in the holiness tradition, emphasizing the doctrine of sanctification as a second work of grace. The church operates several active ministries including Women's Ministry, Children's Ministry, a theological training institute for prospective ministers and elders, financial stewardship programs, and outreach initiatives through its 2CBF (2nd Century By Faith) organization. Visitors are warmly welcomed to experience this faith-centered community dedicated to spiritual growth and gospel advancement.
