About Gainesville Christian Center
Gainesville Christian Center is an ecumenical Christian Study Center rooted in the University of Florida community, dedicated to exploring the intellectual and cultural resources of the Christian tradition. For nearly 25 years, the center has brought together students, faculty, clergy, and community members to engage in thoughtful conversation about faith, learning, and culture. Beyond its educational programs, the center operates Pascal's Coffeehouse, a gathering space offering carefully crafted beverages and hospitality. The Study Center's approach emphasizes the unity of faith and knowledge, addressing enduring human questions through dialogue that enlarge conversations rather than narrow them. Its seven areas of inquiry—including technology and the human, faith and vocation, arts and creativity, and creation care—reflect a commitment to helping the university community flourish through a Christian vision of life.
