What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to Excel Church

Welcome to Excel Church! We're so glad you're considering visiting our vibrant church community in Jacksonville, Florida. Here's a quick guide to help you know what to expect as a first-time visitor:

Dress Code At Excel Church, we have a casual and welcoming atmosphere. You'll see people dressed in anything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual attire. The most important thing is that you come as you are and feel comfortable.

Service Format Our Sunday services start at 10:00 AM and typically last around 75 minutes. The service begins with upbeat, contemporary worship music led by our talented worship team. After the worship time, our lead pastor, Derrick Raines, will deliver an engaging, Bible-based message.

You can expect the service to have a warm, friendly vibe as we create an environment for people to encounter God. We encourage participation, so feel free to clap, sing, or respond as you feel led during the service.

Tips for Visitors - Arrive early (around 9:30 AM) to give yourself time to park, check in your children at EXCEL Kids or EXCEL Youth, and find a seat. - Don't worry about finding the "perfect" seat - there's no bad seat in the house! Ushers are available to help you find a spot. - Grab a free cup of coffee and a snack from our café before the service starts. - During the service, you're welcome to participate as much or as little as you'd like. - After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to introduce yourself and get any questions answered.
