About First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church is a Baptist congregation in the heart of Jasper with roots in Hamilton County dating to 1836, when believers met as Concord Baptist Church. In 1838, a split over support for missions led to the group that became First Baptist Church of Jasper. The church describes itself as “all about family” and seeks to help friends become family. Its ministries include children’s ministry and FBC Jasper Student Ministries, and it offers Right Now Media for personal and group Bible studies.
