First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid is a Christ-centered congregation in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church tradition, located at 118 N. Oak Avenue in Lake Placid, Florida. The church offers two worship services each Sunday: a Traditional Worship service at 9:00 AM in the Sanctuary and a Contemporary Worship service at 11:00 AM in the Genesis Center, allowing members and visitors to choose a style that resonates with them. Beyond regular worship, First Presbyterian is committed to biblical instruction, vibrant worship, and dedicated service to the community. The church also hosts Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered support ministry providing a confidential, safe space for individuals dealing with various life challenges including chemical dependency, abuse, mental health concerns, and codependency. First Presbyterian welcomes believers to join through profession of faith or transfer of membership, and extends associate membership to part-time residents who are members in good standing of another Christian church.
