About Diocese Of Central Florida
The Diocese of Central Florida is a vibrant Anglican community encompassing 78 congregations across 15 counties, from Crystal River and Ocala in the north to Port St. Lucie and Lake Placid in the south, serving close to 20,000 worshippers. With deep roots in Florida dating back to the 1800s and formally established as a diocese in 1969, this Episcopal body continues a tradition of proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ while nurturing leaders and serving diverse communities throughout the region. The diocese is characterized by its commitment to reaching neighborhoods with the good news of reconciliation in Christ, gathering people through Word and sacrament, and sending them out on mission. Under the leadership of the Rt. Rev. Dr. Justin S.
