About Annunciation Church
Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church has served the greater Pensacola area for over 100 years, beginning with Greek immigrant seamen and fishermen in the late 1800s who eventually established a thriving community. The current church building on West Garden Street was constructed in 1954 and consecrated by Archbishop Iakovos in 1973, complemented by a parish fellowship hall and education building that support the church's ministries. As part of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America under the Metropolis of Atlanta, the parish welcomes both longtime members and visitors seeking to experience Orthodox Christian worship and fellowship. The church office is available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and visitors are encouraged to contact the parish to learn more about services and community life.
