About First Presbyterian Church
First Presbyterian Church of Pensacola, established in 1845, is a historic Presbyterian congregation located in the heart of downtown Pensacola, Florida. With approximately 450 members drawn from throughout the greater Pensacola area, the church is committed to being a welcoming community that embraces and respects a diversity of views. The church centers its faith on Jesus Christ and the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, believing that God unites all believers in ways far greater than the issues that divide other churches. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Robert Thomas Quiring, First Presbyterian offers Sunday worship services at 10 a.m., with livestreaming available for those who wish to worship online. The church is also home to the Child Discovery Center, an accredited day care facility, and hosts various educational and fellowship programs throughout the year.
