Dress Code: Dress as you feel comfortable; people commonly wear sports coats, ties, button-down shirts, pants, dresses, or skirts. Head coverings (kippot) are available for those who wish to wear them. Service Format: Services are guided by rabbis or cantors who announce when to stand or sit. The congregation stands during specific prayers and when the ark is opened to reveal the Torah scrolls. Parts of services are in English and Hebrew with transliteration provided. Participation in singing and responsive readings is encouraged, creating an interactive worship experience. Visitor Tips: No Hebrew knowledge is required. Non-members are welcome to attend services and stay for Shabbat lunch. The congregation is judgment-free and accommodates varying levels of observance.
