What to Expect at Calvary Chapel St. Petersburg

Dress Code: At Calvary Chapel, you'll find a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Feel free to come as you are, whether that's jeans and a t-shirt or something a little dressier. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable.

Service Format: The services at Calvary Chapel are centered on expository teaching from the Bible. You can expect the pastor to systematically walk through a book of the Bible, verse by verse, to help you understand and apply God's Word. Worship is also an important part of the service, led by a worship team.

The weekend services on Sundays are identical, with the same teaching. On Wednesdays, the focus shifts to the Old Testament. If you have children, we recommend arriving early to get them checked into our Calvary Kids program, which provides age-appropriate teaching and activities.

Tips for Visitors: - Feel free to sit anywhere - there's no need to find an "assigned" seat. - Bring your Bible, pen, and notebook if you'd like to take notes during the sermon. - Don't feel obligated to give financially. The offering is for regular attendees. - After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to introduce yourself and get any questions answered. - Stick around for a few minutes to meet some new people and build connections.
