About Shining Light Church
Shining Light Church is a contemporary congregation in Sarasota founded in 1994. Led by Stephen and Jennifer Schlabach, with Ross Schlabach serving as Teaching & Worship Pastor, the church says it exists to know Jesus, follow His ways, and reflect His character. It describes itself as a simple, smaller church with no production or performance. Sunday morning worship and a Wednesday midweek service are part of its weekly rhythm, along with small groups. Families worship together in the same gathering rather than separating children into their own service.
