Founded in 1984 as a mission congregation, the church has grown from its first service of 101 attendees to an established community with a dedicated sanctuary completed in 2000. The congregation offers a welcoming atmosphere with accessibility features including live captioning for the hearing impaired during Sunday services and Bible class. Beyond weekly worship, Forest Oaks Lutheran is actively engaged in community service through its Body and Soul Food Pantry, which operates every Tuesday, and offers numerous fellowship groups and Bible study opportunities throughout the month.
