What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg

Welcome to First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg! We're so glad you're considering visiting us. Here's a quick guide to help you know what to expect as a first-time visitor:

Dress Code At First Baptist, you'll find people dressed in a wide variety of styles, from casual to more formal attire. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. Whether you prefer jeans and a t-shirt or a suit and tie, you'll fit right in.

Service Format Our Sunday morning worship service starts at 10:30 AM. The service typically lasts around 60-75 minutes and includes:

- Uplifting music and hymns led by our choir and worship team - A relevant, Bible-based message from our pastor - Time for prayer and reflection - Opportunities to give an offering

We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month.

Tips for Visitors - Feel free to sit anywhere in the sanctuary - there's no need to find a "visitor" section. - Relax and don't worry about standing/sitting at the "right" times. Just follow along as you feel comfortable. - Filling out a visitor card is appreciated, but not required. This helps us welcome you properly. - Our greeters and ushers are happy to assist you with any questions or needs you may have. - Refreshments and fellowship time happens after the service in our community hall. We'd love for you to join us!
