What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor at St. Petersburg First United Methodist Church & Preschool

Dress Code: At St. Pete First UMC, you'll find that people dress in a wide variety of styles, from casual to more formal. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. Whether you prefer jeans and a t-shirt or a suit and tie, you'll be welcomed with open arms.

Service Format: St. Pete First UMC offers three distinct worship services on Sunday mornings:

- ARISE at 8:00 am - A traditional, liturgical service with hymns, prayers, and a sermon. - IGNITE at 9:30 am - A modern, contemporary service with a praise band and a more casual atmosphere. - CLASSIC at 11:00 am - Another traditional service, similar to ARISE, with a classic Methodist feel.

All services last around an hour. You're welcome to attend whichever service best fits your worship style preferences.

Tips for Visitors: - Feel free to sit anywhere - there's no "reserved" seating. - Grab a program when you enter to follow along with the service. - Don't worry about giving - as a visitor, you're our guest, so the offering is for regular attendees. - After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to say hello and get any questions answered. - Check out the church's website or social media to learn about upcoming events and ways to get involved.
