About St Joseph Catholic Church
St. Joseph Catholic Church is a Catholic parish in Stuart with a long local history, founded in 1916 after land was donated by George Zamits. Its first Mass was celebrated with 35 people in attendance, and the current church was dedicated on December 12, 1981. The church holds about 1,100 people. St. Joseph offers traditional Catholic worship, with Masses throughout the week, including a Saturday vigil, Sunday Masses, daily morning Masses, and a Saturday evening Spanish Mass. The parish also has children’s ministry, and the Sisters of the most Holy Soul of Christ from Poland work and minister in the church and school.
