About Calvary Chapel Tallahassee
Calvary Chapel Tallahassee is a non-denominational church that has served the Tallahassee community since 1986, with its first service held on July 3 of that year. Founding pastor Kent Nottingham planted the church after serving at Calvary Chapel Las Vegas. The church describes its ministry around expositional Bible teaching, Christ-centered worship, and local and global missions. Sunday worship services are offered at 9:00 and 11:00 AM, with a Wednesday worship service at 6:30 PM. The church also offers children’s ministry and youth group, and in 2024 opened Foundations Preschool adjacent to the church property, which was completed in 2006.
