About St John Lutheran Church
St. John Lutheran Church in Winter Park is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The congregation’s first worship service was held on January 25, 1953, in the College Park Women’s Club. St. John describes itself as a sacramental church, believing that grace is poured out through Baptism and Communion. Its ministry focus is to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, provide compassionate care for those in need, and worship the Lord through Word and Sacrament.
