About The Christian Community Atlanta
The Christian Community Atlanta is an independent congregation centered around the seven sacraments in a renewed form, welcoming all people regardless of age, race, national origin, gender, and sexual orientation. Founded in 2025 by Revs. Kate and Patrick Kennedy, the congregation serves the northeast Atlanta area with a permanent chapel space established in December 2022. Members come not only from Atlanta but also from Alabama and Tennessee, creating a growing community dedicated to sacramental integrity and freedom of belief. The congregation celebrates communion services, known as the Consecration of the Human Being, throughout the year and administers other sacraments including baptisms, confirmations, and marriages. As part of The Christian Community Movement for Religious Renewal, an international network of approximately 200 independent congregations worldwide, the Atlanta church invites seekers of a vibrant, inclusive faith community to join them.
