Welcome to United Church Atlanta! As a first-time visitor, here's what you can expect:

Dress Code: At United Church Atlanta, we have a casual and welcoming atmosphere. You can wear anything from jeans and a t-shirt to dresses and suits - the choice is yours! The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and ready to participate in the service.

Service Format: Our Sunday services typically last around 60-75 minutes. The service begins with a time of gathering and worship, often including hymns, prayers, and a welcome from the pastor. This is followed by the sermon, which is a practical and inspiring message based on the Bible.

After the sermon, we have a time for offering and announcements, where you're welcome to contribute financially if you'd like, but there's no obligation. The service concludes with a final song and benediction.

Throughout the service, you're encouraged to actively participate, whether that's singing, standing, or responding to the pastor's prompts. But if you prefer to just observe, that's perfectly fine too.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to get settled and find a seat. - Feel free to pick up a program at the welcome table, which will have the order of service and other helpful information. - During the service, don't be afraid to ask a nearby usher or greeter if you have any questions. - After the service, stop by the welcome table to say hello and pick up a visitor's packet. The staff would love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
