About Open Hands United Christian Ministry
Open Hands United Christian Ministry is a collaborative outreach ministry serving those in need across the Carrollton community. Supported by over 100 caring volunteers and partner churches, the ministry provides food assistance to approximately 800 families monthly, along with emergency financial assistance, Bibles, prayer support, reading glasses, and personal care items. Since its founding in September 2011, Open Hands has worked to understand each person's circumstances through personal interviews and to connect guests with additional community resources. The organization operates as a partner agency of the Atlanta Community Food Bank and welcomes donations and volunteers from individuals and civic groups throughout the region.
