About Cliftondale UMC
Cliftondale UMC is a Methodist congregation in College Park with roots reaching back to 1964, when the North Georgia Conference purchased land on Stonewall Tell Road and the church was formally organized with 15 chartered members. The congregation held its first service in the fellowship hall in 1966, and its current sanctuary and classroom building was constructed in 1972. Rev. Genetha Rice-Singleton was appointed pastor in 2025. The church’s stated mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Sunday School meets at 9:00 AM, followed by worship at 10:00 AM, and the church offers a youth group.
