What to Expect: A First-Time Visitor's Guide to The Church of Columbus

Dress Code: At The Church of Columbus, we have a welcoming and casual atmosphere. Feel free to come as you are - there's no need to dress up. You'll see some attendees in suits and dresses, but also plenty of people wearing jeans, t-shirts, and other comfortable attire. The most important thing is that you come ready to worship and connect with our church family.

Service Format: Our Sunday service starts promptly at 10 AM. You can expect a warm greeting from our ushers as you enter, who can help you find a seat. The service begins with upbeat, contemporary worship led by our praise team. After the worship time, our senior pastor, Rev. H.L. Sheppard, will deliver an encouraging, Bible-based message. Services typically last around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

We also offer a Spanish service at 1 PM and a Wednesday night Bible study at 7:30 PM, if those times work better for you.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to allow time to park and find a seat. - Grab a visitor packet from the Welcome Desk to learn more about our church. - Feel free to participate in the worship and sermon, or simply observe if you prefer. - During the offering time, you are not expected to give unless you want to. The offering is for our regular attendees. - After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to say hello. Our team would love to meet you, answer any questions, and help you get connected.
