Abiding Grace Lutheran Church in Covington, Georgia, is a WELS congregation founded in 2003 to serve residents of Newton, Rockdale, and Henry counties. The church emphasizes God's Word through relevant preaching and outreach, holding firmly to biblical teachings and the message of God's love and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Led by Pastor Jonathan Scharf since 2003, the church gathers regularly for worship and strengthens faith through God's Word and sacraments. As part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, Abiding Grace participates in a broader network of over 1,200 congregations across North America and supports missionary work in more than 25 countries.
