About Camp Glisson United Methodist
Camp Glisson United Methodist is a retreat and camping ministry located near Dahlonega, Georgia, serving as holy ground for spiritual growth since its founding in 1925 by Rev. Fred Glisson. As part of the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church, Glisson offers summer camp and year-round retreat experiences set within nearly 400 acres of mountain forest surrounding Cane Creek Falls. The center is dedicated to making disciples of Jesus Christ and nurturing leadership through transformative experiences rooted in creation and Christian community. Guided by core values of radical acceptance, Christian community, unconditional love, and experiential learning, Glisson welcomes campers, retreat groups, families, and churches seeking to strengthen their faith and practice servant leadership in ways that become part of everyday life.
