About St Luke's Catholic Church
St. Luke the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church is housed in a historic building over 100 years old, originally constructed by Dahlonega's Presbyterian community in 1899-1900 and serving as a Catholic parish since 1962. Nestled in the scenic North Georgia Mountains within the wine country corridor, the parish offers daily Mass from Monday through Friday, vigil Mass on Saturday, and two Sunday morning Masses. The community is spiritually active, featuring 40 hours of Eucharistic Adoration each week, multiple confession opportunities, Bible studies, and various adult faith formation programs. St. Luke serves all ages through its Parish School of Religion, college campus ministry at the University of North Georgia, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society, which actively serves the underprivileged in the local area.
