When the original church property became part of the Fort Stewart U.S. Army Installation in 1941, the congregation rebuilt, reopening for worship in 1942. Pleasant Grove describes itself as a Christ-centered church family. Pastor John E. Morse, Jr. and Evangelist Debbie L. Morse serve in leadership. The church offers Sunday School, Sunday morning worship, Tuesday Bible study, and Wednesday morning prayer.
