About Jun Dung Sa Buddhist Temple
Jun Dung Sa is a Korean Buddhist temple in Lilburn, Georgia, that has served the Korean community in the greater Atlanta area for more than 25 years and is now open to everyone. Established in 1992 under the guidance of Founder Venerable Seok-Maya and Head Nun Venerable Soo-in, the temple transmits Buddhist wisdom and teachings while fostering a welcoming sangha community. The temple offers both Korean-language services and English-language meditation and dharma study programs, including the School of Life, a 7-9 week program combining meditation, yoga, and dharma exploration. Beyond formal services, the temple hosts special events with renowned Seon-Masters, Korean language classes, traditional music instruction, and a choir. Visitors of all backgrounds are invited to join the community and connect with Buddhist practice in a supportive, culturally rich environment.
