About Word of Life Church of God in Christ
Word of Life Church of God in Christ has been serving the Greater Macon community for over two decades with a mission centered on Christ and characterized by service, love, and compassion. Founded in 2000 by Pastor Johnny L. Roberts, Sr. and Elect Lady Sarah Roberts, the church relocated to its current location at 656 Key Street in Macon, Georgia in 2005. The church operates with a vision to be a ministry of service not only to its members but also to the surrounding community, implementing numerous outreach programs including monthly fellowship dinners, a community Thanksgiving dinner, a summer feeding program, and a nursing home ministry. Led by pastors who emphasize discipleship and spiritual growth, Word of Life welcomes visitors with the motto that it is "a church where everybody is somebody and Jesus is Lord."
