About Transfiguration Catholic Chur
Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, Georgia, is a vibrant parish community with roots extending back to 1977, when about 45 families celebrated the first official Mass in a local hotel banquet room. Today, the church serves hundreds of parishioners through multiple Sunday Masses, weekday services, and a robust array of ministries including faith formation programs, sacramental preparation, and community outreach through its SVDP Pantry. The parish embraces contemporary Catholic liturgies and welcomes all into its faith family as they grow and serve as disciples of Jesus. Led by Pastor Eric J. Hill and Parochial Vicar Father Rafael Ángel Carballo-Arroyo, Transfiguration offers programs such as Alpha discussions, marriage courses, and spiritual formation for all ages. The church's Parish Center, opened in 1997, provides space for religious education, social gatherings, and community activities. Visitors will find a welcoming, spiritually engaged community committed to both sacramental life and active service in northeast Cobb County.
