The community centers on the daily practice of chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and reciting portions of the Lotus Sutra as a means to embrace Buddha nature and apply Buddhist principles to everyday life. SGI-USA gathers monthly for neighborhood discussion meetings where members study Buddhist concepts and share experiences of applying Buddhism to life's challenges.
