About Catholic Churches
Christ the King Church was established in 1932 as a mission outpost and now serves the Catholic community in Kahului, Hawaii. Located at 20 West Wakea Avenue, the parish offers multiple weekly masses including Saturday vigil and Sunday services at various times, with a Spanish-language mass at noon and a Visayan mass on the first Sunday of each month. The church maintains a robust spiritual life featuring daily morning prayers, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Rosary devotions, and regular confession times on Saturdays. Beyond worship, Christ the King provides religious education for grades 1–12, adult conversion classes, baptism preparation, marriage and funeral services, and community outreach through food pantry drives and other parish ministries. Visitors are welcomed to join the vibrant faith community that has served Kahului for over ninety years.
