About Ekklesia Maui
Ekklesia Maui is a non-traditional church community in Kahului that evolved in 2024 from The Maui Movement collective of house churches. The church began gathering in homes in 2020 rather than holding Sunday morning services, and it continues to meet in a variety of settings. Ekklesia Maui does not have a church building; it rents a warehouse in Kahului on Friday nights and also gathers in homes, parks, beaches, and food trucks. Its life together emphasizes worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship, small groups, and authentic community.
