About Berean Baptist Church
Berean Baptist Church in Ammon is a Baptist congregation with a stated motto of “Always the Word.” The church family began in January 1995, and its name comes from Acts 17:10-11, pointing to the Bereans’ careful and eager examination of Scripture. Todd Wood became pastor after joining the church in 1997, and Mike Cummins has served as teaching pastor since 2021. The church meets for Sunday School at 9:30 AM and Morning Worship at 10:45 AM, and offers children’s ministry. Berean has grown through the years, including construction of a 7,200 square foot building on east First Street and a later 6,000 square foot addition.
