About Ascension Priory
The Monastery of the Ascension is a community of nine Benedictine monks, founded in 1965. They live a life of prayer, work, and reading, according to the Rule of St. Benedict, and serve the Catholic Church and people of Southern Idaho through hospitality, education, spiritual direction, and ecumenical activities.

Dress code is casual and comfortable. The service format follows the Benedictine tradition, with a focus on prayer, scripture readings, and hymns. Visitors are welcome to participate or observe as they feel comfortable.
