What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to Purpose City Church in Aurora, IL

Dress Code: At Purpose City Church, we want you to feel comfortable. People generally dress casually, in things like jeans, t-shirts, and casual dresses or blouses. However, you are welcome to wear whatever makes you feel at ease.

Service Format: The service begins at 10:30 AM on Sundays. It typically starts with 20-30 minutes of contemporary worship music led by the church's band. This is followed by a 30-40 minute sermon, where the pastor delivers a relevant, Bible-based message. Throughout the service, you can expect a welcoming, casual, and friendly atmosphere.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to allow time to find parking and get settled. Greeters will be stationed at the doors to welcome you and answer any questions.

- Feel free to participate in the worship as much or as little as you'd like. No one will single you out or pressure you.

- Don't worry about bringing a Bible - the scripture will be displayed on the screens.

- Children are welcome in the main service, but Purpose City also offers excellent, safe, and age-appropriate kids programs during the service time.

- At the end, you're welcome to stay and talk with people, but there's no obligation. You can slip out as discreetly as you'd like.
