About Bethel Baptist Church
Bethel Baptist Church is a Baptist congregation in Caseyville with roots reaching back to 1809, when it was founded by abolitionist families. The church was rebuilt in 1976 and is led by Pastor Daniel McAfee. Bethel supports 18 missionary families and maintains a membership covenant centered on acknowledging Jesus as Savior, scriptural baptism, and seeking fellowship and harmony with the church. The congregation also cares for members in practical ways, including a “Cool” fund that helps with utility bills.
