About Disciples Of Christ Community Church
Disciples Of Christ Community Church is a small “New Testament” Christian community serving the Champaign-Urbana area. The congregation describes itself as a restart of a Disciples of Christ church that had ceased meeting regularly. It stands in the American mainline Protestant tradition and identifies as ecumenical rather than non-denominational. The church welcomes all to the Lord’s Table and is connected to community care through Food & More Ministry, an interfaith partnership with five other congregations serving food-insecure families in Champaign-Urbana. That ministry received support through a Disciples of Christ National Benevolent Association COVID grant.
