About Rogers Park Baptist Church
Rogers Park Baptist Church is a historic Baptist congregation in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood. Established in 1891, the church’s present building was built in 1919; after a Good Friday fire destroyed it in 1935, it was rebuilt the following year. Led by Pastor Richard Boykin, the congregation describes itself as ethnically diverse, with people from around the world. The church also serves the neighborhood through a food pantry open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
