About The Catholic Shoppe
The Catholic Shoppe in Downers Grove, Illinois is a Catholic retail ministry that began in 1988 when founders Larry and Mary Sue Eck felt called to share messages of faith, healing, and conversion centered on Our Lady of Medjugorje. What started as a magazine publication evolved into a storefront offering religious books, statues, rosaries, artwork, and other devotional items. Operating as a non-profit, the shop directs its proceeds to charitable causes including support for orphans at Mother's Village in Bosnia, pro-life ministries at the Women's Care Center, and Mercy Home for Boys and Girls in Chicago. The ministry has distributed over one million dollars to these charities over its years of service. Today led by Mari Campise, The Catholic Shoppe continues the legacy of faithful service with a team dedicated to quality products and customer care.
