About Christ Community Church
Christ Community Church is a Reformed congregation in Lemont with roots in 1959, when it began as The Reformed Church of Palos Heights. The congregation later purchased property near Lemont, Homer Glen, Palos, and Orland, adopted its current name, and opened its new building on Palm Sunday in 2007. Its stated mission is “Guiding our neighbors to a hope-filled future,” with a local focus on the surrounding geographic area it calls “The Circle.” The church offers a Sunday worship gathering, children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups. In 2023, it launched the Defining Moments campaign to develop a thrift and community center, reduce debt, and plan for the future.
