About Moro Presbyterian Church

Moro Presbyterian Church is a traditional Presbyterian congregation in Moro with roots reaching back to December 9, 1848, when it was organized as Rattan’s Prairie Presbyterian Church by The Reverend Valentine Pentzer. Its first church building was constructed in the fall of 1853, and the congregation took the name Moro Presbyterian on April 6, 1865. After the church was destroyed by fire on May 3, 1974, a new church was dedicated a year and a day later and was first used for Sunday worship on May 30, 1975.
