What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to Naperville Church of Christ

Many of our members come in business casual attire, but you'll also see people wearing jeans, khakis, and t-shirts. The focus is on worshiping God, not outward appearances, so wear what makes you feel at ease.

Service Format: Our Sunday services typically last around 75-90 minutes and follow a consistent format. The service begins with a time of singing and worship, led by our praise team. This is followed by a sermon, which is an in-depth Bible teaching aimed at helping us grow in our faith. We also have a time for communion, where we remember Jesus's sacrifice, and an offering, where we can give back to support the church's mission.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to allow time to find a seat and get settled. - Don't worry about not knowing what to do - our ushers and greeters are happy to help guide you through the service. - Feel free to participate in the singing, communion, and offering, but don't feel obligated if you're not comfortable. - After the service, stop by the welcome center to introduce yourself and pick up a welcome packet.
