What to Expect at Naperville Presbyterian Church

Dress Code: At Naperville Presbyterian Church, we have a casual and welcoming atmosphere. You'll find people dressed in anything from jeans and t-shirts to slacks and button-downs. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and ready to worship.

Service Format: Our Sunday morning services are held at 8:30 am and 10:45 am, each lasting just over an hour. The format typically includes:

- Congregational singing of traditional and contemporary worship songs, led by our praise team - Scripture reading - Prayer, both corporate and pastoral - Expository preaching, with a focus on the gospel and applying biblical truths to daily life - Celebration of the sacraments (communion is served on the first Sunday of each month)

We believe that gathered worship is a vital part of the Christian life, so we encourage everyone to participate fully in the service.

Tips for Visitors: - Feel free to sit anywhere - there's no assigned seating. - Grab a worship guide as you enter, which will provide an outline of the service. - During the offering, you're welcome to give, but as a guest please don't feel any obligation to do so. - Children are welcome to remain in the service, but we also offer Sunday School classes for various age groups. - After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to introduce yourself and pick up a welcome gift. - Stick around for coffee and refreshments in the lobby, and don't hesitate to introduce yourself to our pastors and members.
