About Open Arms Ministries
Open Arms Ministries is a Christian church in Quincy, Illinois, with a contemporary worship style. The church began in 1999 in a living room, founded by a handful of people who were hungry for God’s presence, and within a year moved into a public space. Kenny and Bev Geisendorfer serve as pastors. Its mission is “To show the strength of the Lord to this generation, and His power to the generation to come.” The ministry has grown to serve hundreds while continuing from its original focus on seeking God’s presence.
