What to Expect at First Covenant Church in Rockford, Illinois

Dress Code: At First Covenant Church, you'll find a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Most attendees dress in comfortable, casual clothing, such as jeans, t-shirts, or sweaters. Feel free to come as you are - the focus is on worshiping together, not outward appearances.

Service Format: The Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:15 am. The service typically lasts around 60-75 minutes and includes:

- Uplifting, contemporary worship music led by the praise team - A welcoming time to greet those around you - An inspiring message from the pastor, rooted in Scripture - Opportunities for prayer and reflection

The Sunday evening prayer service, held from 6:30-8 pm, is a more intimate time of worship presented in a "harp and bowl" format, with periods of prayer interspersed with worship songs.
