What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to Forest City Church in Rockford, Illinois

Welcome to Forest City Church! We are so excited to have you join us and we want your first visit to be a great experience. Here's what you can expect:

Dress Code: At Forest City Church, we have a casual and welcoming atmosphere. You'll see people dressed in anything from jeans and t-shirts to dresses and button-downs. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. We want you to come as you are.

Service Format: Our Sunday services are held at 9am and 11am. Each service lasts around 60-75 minutes and follows a similar format:

- Worship - We start with a time of musical worship led by our talented worship team. Feel free to sing along, raise your hands, or just soak it all in.

- Welcome & Announcements - Our pastor will welcome everyone and share about upcoming events and opportunities.

- Message - The main teaching portion of the service, where our pastor will share an inspiring and practical message from the Bible.

- Response Time - We'll close with a time for personal reflection, prayer, and commitment.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive early to find parking and get settled. Greeters will be there to welcome you and answer any questions.

- Don't worry about finding your way around - look for the signs and ask anyone if you need help. Our team is here to assist you.

- Enjoy the service at your own pace. You don't need to stand, sing, or do anything you're not comfortable with.

- After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to say hi, grab a free gift, and learn more about getting connected.
