University Lutheran Church, commonly known as ULu, is a congregation of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod located in Bloomington, Indiana. Serving both local residents and students at IU-Bloomington, the church welcomes people from all walks of life, states, and nations who seek connection to Christ, one another, and the broader Christian Church. The congregation emphasizes Word and Sacrament ministry and proclaims the incarnate, crucified, risen, and returning Christ. ULu offers Bible study and fellowship opportunities tailored to its diverse, changing membership of undergraduates, graduate students, and community members. Many who have participated describe the church as the best part of their university experience, and the congregation actively works in partnership with the Indiana District of the LCMS and Faith Lutheran Church to bring the Gospel to their unique community.
