About Grace Lutheran Church
Grace Lutheran Church is a Christ-centered congregation in Columbus, Indiana, rooted in the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod tradition. Founded in 1954 and dedicated in 1966, the church has grown from 29 families to over 150, serving the local community and beyond through various ministries including Vacation Bible School, Japanese Ministry, and Lego Club. The congregation emphasizes Word and Sacrament ministry, with worship centered on the Gospel and enhanced by a robust music program featuring a nine-rank Wicks organ installed in 1966. Grace welcomes visitors of all ages and backgrounds, offering both traditional liturgical worship and opportunities for spiritual growth through programs like Alpha, a twelve-session introduction to the Christian faith.
